Isioma Chigonti - Clinical Lead Nurse

Isioma Chigonti is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background across both clinical and social care settings. She began her career in a London Hospice as a healthcare assistant, providing compassionate palliative support and offering empathetic care to patients and their families during some of their most challenging moments. Driven by a desire to make a wider impact, Isioma progressed academically, completing a BSc in Adult Nursing at the University of Leeds in 2020, followed by a Master’s in Nursing. She further developed her clinical expertise within the intensive care unit at St James’s Hospital in Leeds during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she cared for individuals with complex and acute needs in a highly demanding environment. Seeking to broaden her experience, Isioma later took on the role of Clinical Lead in a nursing home, gaining deeper insight into the social care sector and the nuances of delivering community-based support. In her current role as Clinical Lead at West Park Care Complex, she is responsible for providing high-quality staff training and ensuring that all delegated clinical tasks are completed safely and in line with NICE guidelines and the NMC Code of Conduct. Isioma’s combined experience in NHS acute care and social care enables her to deliver genuinely person-centred support, improving the quality of life for every client she serves.
